True Innocence

The baby stage doesn’t last long. Ask any parent. It seems like you blink your eyes and that perfect little bundle is a toddler. It’s important to make sure you capture these fleeting precious moments and preserve them to remind your child that yes, they were once that small.

“Jillian was extremely welcoming and handled my 2 month (supposed to be 3 day) old son with care. She treated him as if he were one of her own and made sure that he was comfortable throughout the whole process. Any worries I had about having my newborn handled and posed by a stranger were put to rest as I watched Jillian go about her work. Ideally, the sooner after birth, the better for these photographs and if it’s easier and makes mom and dad more comfortable, we can have the session at your home, and take some beautiful natural light shots. Don’t worry if you have a fussy newborn, enough time will be taken to calm down and shoot around the newborn’s schedule. Just keep in mind, most babies will not tolerate numerous clothing changes (and they look best au natural anyway).

And with having three children of my own, I feel like I have become pretty talented with newborns. I’ve never had a newborn leave my studio without getting the shots we needed. And if you have twins, I just want to say, I have twin girls so again, I’ve had lots of practice dealing with two newborns at a time!
