Xander is a Year! | Cobourg Photographer
I met Xander when he was 2 months old, although he was born at 32 weeks (or was it 31 Michelle?) so really he was still just an ity bity newborn. I just might have fallen in love with him
And now I am doing his mommy and daddy’s wedding in June! Can’t wait to see him all dressed up for that. Here are a couple from our shoot. And thanks Michelle for donating towards my Ecuador trip, that was very thoughtful of you! I am very thankful for those willing to give towards something like this.
Seth’s Portraits | Cobourg Photographer
I am not going to lie, I was a bit worried about doing a child this young in late in the day. But Seth was awesome! So many smiles and such a happy boy. And his mommy emailed me a few days later to tell me that she thinks he has a crush on me because he had been walking around all weekend saying Jilly….how cute is that!? Love when my clients are happy when they leave
Parker is growing up! | Cobourg Children Photographer
Parker is a natural infront of the camera. Very happy and gives me smiles, doesn’t yet think I’m too crazy with my laugh props and singing. I love his blue eyes, and blong hair. I bet next time I see him he will be running, or close to it! Oh, and Julie, you should see how cute he looks in his Halloween costume
Grady | Cobourg Newborn Photographer
Birth photography and Newborn Photography are ‘my thing’. I love them. They give me butterflies and fill me with excitement each time. Photographing a birth gives me one of those natural highs that just makes everything else better. It’s hard to explain why I love it so much, but I do. And then when they come visit just a few days new all squishy and edible (yes, sometimes I want to just eat them up!) I can’t think of a better way to spend my morning. Grady’s birth was even that much more exciting to me since his mommy and daddy are very good friends of ours. I’m pretty good at holding back the emotions, but this one made me cry. I have been bugging Matt and Kristen to have babies since the day I photographed their wedding, so I’ve been patiently waiting for this. (If you ask Kristen she would probably say I wasn’t all that patient). It was a hard labor for Kristen. Her water broke at 2am Thursday morning and after having contractions all day and all night but not much progress, it was decided to do a c-section. Probably a good idea since the cord was wrapped around his neck twice! He looks so much like Matt, but I do see mommy in there too. I’ve been bugging her to let me have him for a sleepover, and I’ve finally got her convinced! I mean, what mom doesn’t need one night of uninterrupted sleep to feel like she can tackle the huge job of being a mom. I remember those nights of no sleep (actually, I still get them often) and so I am so happy to get to have some time with Grady and let Kristen sleep, she deserves it! (I think she’s doing it cause she knows I don’t take no for an answer. I would just keep insisiting, or kidnap him myself).
So here is a video of Grady’s first moments. And then his first photo session….
Riley is getting so big!
I’ve been photographing Riley since she was just a little newborn. She has always been hard to crack for a smile although this session she was a bit easier on me. She’s going to be a big sister any day now, and I’m sure she’s going to give lots of smiles then. I love wathcing them grow and change, it’s such an awesome job to be able to do!
