I was there when Lyla took her first breaths (although I was out of breath from running up the hall to get there) and now I have the privilage of photographing her through her milestones. When a family invites me in to capture all of these amazing times in their lives, I feel so honored, and I love watching them grow.  And when I can actually say I was there from the get go, I get a bit attached to these little ones!

Holly and Keith started bringing Logan when he was a few months old (she missed his newborn with me since he is very close in age to my youngest) and I have to say, I really enjoy this family….a lot. So sweet and kind. When Holly told me she checks my blog all the time, I thought, ‘that’s nice’. Then Keith gave me this look. I was wondering what that was for….then he said “she’s on it like every 5 minutes”  I laughed and thought, I’m sure it’s not that often….we’ll, I don’t know about that anymore. I recieve many emails and fb chats from Holly….especially when I post something of interest to her…..even more right after she’s had a session. Like right now. Today she has emailed me I don’t know how many times, just to see how the photos are going….of course, not dropping any hints that she wants to see them: “I can’t wait to see these photos!” And she even went as far as telling me that she’s doing much better with her patience…I don’t know if I agree with her   All joking aside, Holly, it makes me so happy that you get so excited about photos, you make my  job even that much more special…now stop bugging me!

If you’re anything like my husband and I, you don’t have many photos of you and your loved one….or at least not an updated one. With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, it’s time to fix that. February 12th from 12-5 I am holding mini sessions at the studio. You get 5 images workflowed and emailed to you, two of them with doodle art, for $50 ($20 of this goes to charity). What if you want more then five photos? Not a problem, you can have your session and 10 images workflowed and emailed to you (4 with doodle art) for $100. So if you want to have some fun and get some casual, goofy, sweet and cute photos taken, then email or phone to book your spot. Slots are limited and they’re booking fast. And what better way to get photos of you and your love, and donate to a GREAT cause (Dando Amor).

These three brothers were in the studio last week and were a lot of fun.  We had to move quick because you know the attention span of boys, but we got lots of smiles, and they were excited when they got to play on the bike. They eyed it as soon as they got in the studio, so I got to use it as a bribe for awhile. Here are a couple sneak peaks!

Kennedy was full of energy and expression when she came to the studio. It took a little bit of coaxing here and there, but we got some great shots. She is the typical three year old girl that likes to do it her way and have a reply for everything. She kept me on my toes, but I never mind that….here are a few!

I am so behind in my blogging! Hopefully I can get caught up in the next little while. Eve had to make two trips to the studio, but it worked out because on the second trip daddy came for some photos, and we were able to get more smiles out of her! Although I have to say, when her mommy and her came for their viewing, she was the most smiley I’ve seen her Here are a few…

Ok, I have to show you this one, it’s one of my favorites from today.  There have been so many children in today, and I’d say about half were not very sure about Santa…

This mini session kept me laughing the whole time. Such personality and charm this little one had.  He was so much fun to photograph and gave me lots of expressions. It was very hard for me to pick a favorite!

That’s her nickname, and how cute she was for her session! Tons of smiles and laughs, even her mom was a bit surprised!

I ran into Jen at the early years, and it’s been three years since I did photos for her last time….so after making her feel bad she booked a mini session. Have to say, her girls and annie are SO stinkin’ cute! I’ve pretty much decided that annie will be the next dog I get, she was so good!

Lacey came to the studio a few days ago and is 2 months old. She was a very alert baby, and even though near the end she was getting tired, she refused to close those eyes! But such pretty eyes they are…
