and the clouds parted….

and there was no more rain!

since this is the first post of my ‘new’ blog, thought i’d post some new things i was trying out at lisa and mark’s wedding.  a little bit of flash adds a lot of pop!

friday night i laid in bed listening as the rain came down…very hard. then in the morning, it was still raining. then later in the morning, it was still raining. then in the car ride over, it was still raining. however, like i said it would do, the rain stopped, and the sun came out, and lisa and mark got their beautiful outdoor wedding!

i have to say, it is really nice when the groom is just as excited (or possibly more excited) for the photos as the bride. mark was ready to do whatever, not one tiny little grumble all day long. lisa and mark, you were a joy to work with, and you were both stunning on saturday.

here’s just a few, i’ll post more tomorrow, when it’s not 1:30 in the morning!!
