Theodore. | Cobourg Newborn Photographer

Theodore was a brand spanking 5 days new and the first baby of 2012 for Cobourg. He was ADORABLE, even though he was one of my most stubborn. I thought, he’s still so fresh, big boy…he will sleep so much. Well, he was just too busy eatting, because I lost track how many times he wanted food! Thanks Jen, Jeff and Madeline (his sweet big sister) for letting me capture his first photoshoot. (and thanks for my beautiful flowers and beverage ;) ) I hope to see this family again, I enjoyed sharing my afternoon with them!

First 2012 baby | Cobourg Photographer

As many of you know, I love newborns, one of my favorite to photograph. Well, this year, I would love to photograph the first baby of 2012, so am giving the session complimentary. So if you are the person to have this baby, or know the person who has this baby, tell them to email or call me and get some adorable photos!

Trick or Treat! | Cobourg Photographer

Landon was born on Halloween, and with my trip to Ecuador, he was three weeks before he visited my studio. But for a three week old. He was a very good three week old I have to say and I didn’t mind the extra snuggles needed here and there….

brand new smiles | cobourg photographer

I think Peyton has been the most smiley newborns I’ve had in the studio so far. And I only caught half of them. She liked to wait until I put down the camera to give the big ones. She was so sweet and fun to work with, and was a very good girl. Slept through most of it. Here are just a few favorites!

Twice as nice. | Cobourg Photographer

As I’ve said before, twins hold a very special spot in my heart. I love twins. I think everyone should have a set. You really don’t know what you’re missing out on. I really really hoped that my last baby was twin boys. So whenever twins come to the studio, I get excited. Alexandria and Braydon were born at 32 weeks, so we had to wait a bit before they got to come to the studio. And those two did not like to touch each other much. I would get one settled, and the other would be upset. At one point, I had Braydon in my arms getting him back to sleep when Alexandria started to smile. so camera in one hand, Braydon in the other, I got that smile! Can’t wait to watch these two grow up!

Oh, and I laughed with this one…

Sawyer. | Cobourg Photographer

Sawyer was adorable. cute. chubby. cuddly. squishy. I was finding myself just giving him extra little snuggles. Such a handsome little man. He spent a long chunk at the studio, and I have to say, his older brother Carter was a VERY good boy while there. Not so interested in getting in the photos, but still a very good boy. Brad and Gill, you made another perfect little man!

Welcome Harper | Cobourg Newborn Photographer

Another  newborn in the studio! They just keep on coming! I tell you, everyone had the Holiday Cheer last year :)   Harper was 10 days late to begin with, and was 2 weeks when she came to the studio, so was not as sleepy as I like, but that seems to be the usual lately! The newborns just seem to want to be awake when they visit me, and well, that just means I get extra cuddles. Here is a sneak peek!

Hugs and Kisses | Cobourg Newborn Photographer

Ok, these twins just left (literally, mommy and daddy are still loading them up in the car infront of the studio) but I had to post this photo of them (there will be more, but they will be posted in order, after my other sessions still needing to be posted). Alexandria and Brayden were born at 32 weeks, weighing just over 3 pounds. Tomorrow is actually their due date.  For premies, they were a bit more active then I had thought today….they didn’t want to touch each other much, but with lots of patience we got some adorable photos. My sister made these hats for this session (she’s on facebook, Happie Cappies by Erica) and I was so excited to get this shot to work. I won’t lie, twins hold a very special spot in my heart, and even though these two cried a good amount, I had so much fun with them and can’t wait for them to come back three more times this year!
