I had a very fun maternity session with Bria, Mike, Tessa and Reese. They are up visiting from Minnesota so decided to capture memories of this point in their life. Tessa was a protective big sister and Reese was very easy going. I have to say, Mike and Bria were very cute to watch, and Bria is such a beautiful pregnant mommy! Thanks you guys for letting me capture this time for you, I had so much fun!
I photographed Phil and Shannon’s wedding a few years ago, and now they have come back for maternity photos. I love when that happens! They choose to do my Mini Maternity session (something new I’m offering, email me for inquiries), and now I can’t wait to see their new addition. They haven’t found out what they’re having, but I am guessing boy. I’ve seen a lot of pregnant bellies, and well, I have a 50/50 chance of being right!
Ashley and Renee are expecting their first child very very soon. She was one of those cute little pregnant women, where from behind you couldn’t tell at all! However, I know that that sometimes is not the greatest, cause it tends to hurt a lot at the end, you just feel stretched! We kept it nice and simple (which I prefer for maternity since you want the focus on that belly!) and got some cute shots. Can’t wait for these two to be parents!

My friend Amanda came to the studio on the weekend for a maternity shoot. She was the first bride that had me photograph her wedding all by myself. I am thankful for her trusting me for the job, with it being my first solo one those many years ago. Now, she is having a baby, and I am so glad to be able to capture this special time in her life as well. I love when my wedding clients start coming for baby photos, it’s so great to be a part of these moments. I can’t wait for the new little squissy one in March!

Probably not as cold as Melissa….one of my crazy clients!! She was due today, and well, we were outside doing some photos….mr. kelton, you can come any time now! I am excited to do Melissa’s birth photos, so make sure to look for them. And I will be posting some more from her outdoor maternity soon!
Been having a lot of maternity sessions lately, which means another round of newborns!! Caleb, (the youngest) was a bit of a ham in this session, but I’d have to say the boys did better then their dad…who didn’t really understand to smile instead of talk!

Maternity sessions seem to come in spurts, all at once, which means newborns come in spurts all at once! I seem to get a lull in newborns, then for about two months, I get two newborns every week, and I can’t say I mind. We had fun in the studio the other day with this one, very easy going and laid back…on a side note, still looking for more ‘guinea pigs’ to let me do a live birth shoot.
I would say I’ve found my maternity style, and it was exactly what Rhonda was looking for, so that was great! She is so close to having this baby, only 3 weeks away. And I must say, she was just glowing!
Yesterday we had a fun time documenting the last bit of tummy time this little guy is going to have. His soon-to-be big brother, Jack, kept me and mommy and daddy on our feet, the entire time. One of the busiest little boys I have had in my studio in a very long time. I think mommy looks great for being due in 5 weeks!! Here’s a few fun ones we got…
One of my really good friends, Sarah, came to the studio to photograph her belly. I can’t wait for Rich and Sarah to be parents…partly because I can say, see I told you it’s a lot of work, and partly because I know they’ll be great. I told Sarah a few types of articles of clothing to bring, so of course, she had her suitcase filled up with everything I said, plus extras and doubles just in case, and Rich came as unprepared as ever 
I’m trying to talk her into letting me photograph her birth (an announcement on this very soon) and am counting on Rich to help convince her. I thought I’d do some ‘moody’ ones as well today…
