Matt and Elaine met on the steps of the West Highschool….well maybe no on the steps of the highschool, but at highschool. They have dated a long time, and now are planning their wedding in August. (Can’t wait to see how beautiful Elaine will look in her dress!) So we thought it would be fun to do engagement photos at the highschool first. Here’s a sneak peak…

I had a lot of fun doing Matt and Stacey’s engagement photos. I was informed that Matt did not want to do any corny shots, so I had to work extra hard to make sure that didn’t happen   I have to say, Stacey is very natural in front of the camera, and takes BEAUTIFUL photos. They were both so easy going and relaxed that it was more like we were hanging out, walking around town. Here is a sneak peak…

Just got back in from doing Samantha and Nick’s engagement photos. We took a tour around and had some fun. They are both fun and easy going, and comfortable in front of the camera, so we had fun getting to know each other a bit. I am looking forward to their wedding in August, I think it will be a very fun day…I’ve been told some videos by Nick and his friend Calum (so sorry, don’t know how to spell that!) that I need to watch on YouTube and by the sounds of it, the wedding day is going to be full of joking around. Thanks Nick and Samantha for making it a fun shoot. And Calum, thanks for being my reflector guy, I always like when friends come along and assist me…and pull out twigs in spots that they don’t look good!

I got to go for a nice walk yesterday in the woods with Chris and Rachel. There wedding is approaching, so we needed to get their engagement photos done. I always like to do the engagement shoot, because it let’s me see how my bride and groom are going to photograph on their wedding day. Whether they are comfortable infront of the camera, whether they need to warm up, if they are blinkers, etc. Chris and Rachel are going to be lots of fun. It’s nice when the guy is comfortable in front of the camera and doesn’t care what you want him to do. And Rachel, well I’ve known her since highschool, and I’ve always said she is one of the funniest people I know….their dog Sampson also got in some photos.

dean is my computer guy. he has saved me many a times, although he must think i am a tool when it comes to computers. (he owns midtown computers, across from no frills and if you ever had a computer problem, he is the guy to take it to!) his fiance, ashely, set up an appointment to get photos done of them, and their baby, banks. i have to admit, i laughed a lot with this session! banks is only 2, so is still a puppy, and was very excited to be in the studio. you can tell she is the princess in the family, they even came with their own ‘diaper bag’ of treats and toys i later found out that dean had wanted a little yorkie, but ashley got to pick the breed….hmmmm, a bit bigger then a yorkie she is! i think she was busier then my three kids! here is a quick sneak peak…

jess and sara are getting married next august, so wanted to do some fall engagement photos. we went for a drive and found some color. sara has quite the giggle, and jesse warmed up to the camera quicker then a lot of guys do, so that is always good! here are just a couple…

i did anna and eric’s engagement photos the other day, and anna knew exactly how many days until they were getting married. i told her i was impressed she knew that, and she laughed and said she has a countdown on her facebook page. so i checked today, and in 281 days, they will be getting married! we found out that anna likes to be told exactly how to stand and ‘be’ while eric is just a bit more relaxed! anna, you have 281 days to get in front of a mirror and practice some poses!!
